A free continental-style Christmas market of local and international traders in the gardens around Belfast City Hall, running from mid-November to 22 December.

Belfast's Christmas market fills the grounds of City Hall with a village of wooden stalls. The council described it in 2025 as having over 100 international and local traders, and says local traders now make up more than half of the stalls.

Expect a mix of international food and street food, bratwurst, glühwein, cheeses and chocolates, alongside handmade gifts, decorations and artisan products. There is an outdoor festive food court, a vintage carousel and a giant helter-skelter with views across the market.

Entry is free. The market stays open until 10pm from Thursday to Saturday, with bars open later; Sundays are shorter (12 noon–6pm).
