A new German-style Christmas market of wooden chalets in Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich, running for ten days in December 2026.

Christkindl Market Norwich is a new event for 2026, run by local organiser Fine City Events. For ten days in December it turns Chapelfield Gardens into a German-inspired Christmas market of traditional wooden chalets - Visit Norwich puts the number at 80.

Stalls focus on local and regional makers - handmade gifts, jewellery, crafts, decorations and homewares - alongside seasonal food and drink such as mulled wine, hot chocolate and street food, with vegan and gluten-free options. Fire pits, live music from local bands and choirs on the park's bandstand, and family activities round it off.

It's free to visit on weekday daytimes; a small adult charge applies on weekday evenings and all weekend to manage crowds, and children go free. Nearby multi-storey car parks include Chantry Place and Castle Quarter, and the gardens are in the heart of the city centre, easy to reach on foot or by bus.
