A weekend Christmas fair in Kirkwall that brings Orkney's craft makers and food and drink producers together under one roof.

Orkney's two industry groups for makers and for food and drink, Creative Orkney and Orkney Food & Drink, hold a joint Christmas fayre each year at Kirkwall Grammar School. It is an indoor showcase of island businesses: jewellers, glassmakers, textile artists, potters and woodturners alongside bakers, cheesemakers, distillers, brewers and coffee roasters.

Around 30 businesses took part in earlier editions, and the 2025 fayre listed more than 30, from Orkney gin and whisky producers to Burnside Cheese and Ortak jewellery. There are tastings, demonstrations and special offers over the weekend.

It is a good way to buy Orkney-made gifts and produce in one place. Exhibitor lists are usually published on Orkney.com closer to the date.
