A long-running December market of hand-picked Edinburgh artists and makers in the Drill Hall arts centre in Leith, run from 2026 by MNB Scotland.

For about 20 years the Out of the Blue arts charity has held a Winter Arts Market in its Drill Hall in Leith, a converted drill hall that is now a community arts centre with studios and a café. In 2024 more than 100 local independent artists and makers took part over three days, with different stallholders each day.

From 2026 the market is run by MNB Scotland CIC as the MNB Winter Craft Market. The organisers describe it as a creative, community-focused Christmas market of independent makers, with free workshops alongside the stalls and food and drink from the Drill Hall Arts Café.

Expect paintings and prints, homewares, jewellery, textiles and ceramics.
