A three-day ticketed Christmas gift and food fair inside Ely Cathedral, with around 160 exhibitors, a vintage carousel and an observation wheel outside.
Each November Ely Cathedral hosts its Christmas Gift & Food Fair, with stalls set out beneath the nave's high ceilings and a Festive Village outside. For 2026 the cathedral expects 160 exhibitors, over a third of them new, selling artisan food, crafts and gifts.
There's live entertainment inside, mulled wine and seasonal bakes in the Lady Chapel, and outside a vintage carousel and an observation wheel with views over the city and the Fens. The outdoor village has a marquee and covered seating for eating.
Entry is by timed session ticket; cathedral passes aren't valid. A dedicated park and ride runs from Ben's Yard (CB7 5TR) with a shuttle bus to the cathedral. You can add a visit to the Stained Glass Museum upstairs, reached by 45 spiral stone steps.
