A three-day ticketed Christmas fair with more than 150 independent stalls, moving in 2026 to the grounds of Boreham House near Chelmsford.
The Essex County Christmas Fair brings more than 150 independent businesses together in heated shopping marquees and outdoor stalls, selling gifts, handmade products, decorations, fashion, homeware and artisan food and drink. For 2026 it moves to Boreham House near Chelmsford, having been held at Braxted Park in 2025.
Alongside the shopping there's seasonal food and drink, live music, festive performers, Father Christmas and a Ferris wheel. Friday is an afternoon-and-evening late shopping session, and twilight tickets are cheaper.
Booking online in advance gives reduced prices and fast-track entry. Parking is in the Boreham car boot sale field (CM3 3HJ) rather than the house entrance - follow the event signs from the Boreham Interchange - with a path to the fair and a free shuttle for Blue Badge holders. Parking is on grass, so wear sensible shoes and bring a torch after dark.
