A two-day Christmas market set among the recreated Victorian streets and shopfronts of Basingstoke's indoor living-history museum.

Milestones is an indoor museum of recreated Hampshire streets from the Victorian era to the mid-20th century, and for one weekend in December its cobbled streets become a Christmas market. There are more than 40 stalls, including 17 Victorian-themed stalls dressed in period style, selling handmade crafts, local makers' goods and seasonal treats.

Expect live music, mulled wine and hot drinks, and family activities. Because it is indoors it works whatever the weather. Tickets are needed and pre-booking is recommended.
