Weekends of Victorian Christmas at Milton Keynes Museum, with carols round the pianola, mulled wine and a festive craft market of local makers.
Milton Keynes Museum in Wolverton dresses its Victorian rooms and farm buildings for Christmas on Fridays to Sundays through December. Visitors can join carol singing around the pianola, enjoy mince pies and mulled wine, and visit Father Christmas in the grotto (small extra charge).
On Saturdays and Sundays a festive craft market and bar runs in the atrium of the museum's New Gallery, with handmade gifts from local artists and producers. Entry is with a museum ticket, which the museum says can be reused free for a year, and parking is free.
