A makers' Christmas market in the rooms and grounds of West Dean House near Chichester, home of the arts and conservation college.
West Dean College, the arts and crafts college in a flint manor house north of Chichester, holds a Christmas market celebrating makers and their craft. Stalls in the house's estate rooms and on the front lawn sell art, crafts, food and drink, and there are demonstrations by the college's short-course tutors and a gift personalisation service from a calligraphy studio.
Entry is by a pre-booked timed ticket and visitors can also walk round the gardens. Dogs on leads are allowed outside only, and card payment is preferred though some stalls are cash-only.
