Kingston's town-centre Christmas market of festive stalls, a bar and a live-music stage in the historic Ancient Market Place.
Each year Kingston First, the town's business improvement district, sets up a Christmas market in the Ancient Market Place as the centrepiece of its 'Christmas in Kingston' programme. Stalls sell handmade gifts and seasonal food, and there is a bar serving mulled wine, cider and hot chocolate.
A stage in the square hosts live music and festive performances, and the town is decorated with bespoke light installations, including a giant reindeer and a light-up KINGSTON sign by All Saints Church. The market sits in the middle of a busy shopping centre with more than 250 shops.
