Leeds city-centre Christmas market on City Square, focused on Yorkshire makers and food, with an ice rink and rides up the road on Millennium Square.

Leeds' Christmas market now centres on City Square by the railway station. For 2026 the council has a new operator, Fabler and Co (the company behind THOR'S Tipi), which plans around 60 traders and food vendors from across Yorkshire, decorated chalets, around 200 Christmas trees, two new bar areas and an elf hunt trail for children. Real Markets Yorkshire runs some cabins with a rotating line-up of artisan traders.

A short walk away, Ice Cube at Christmas brings a 400 sq m covered outdoor ice rink to Millennium Square, along with Bavarian-style food and drink cabins, a ski bar and fairground rides, plus the Big Wheel in Victoria Gardens and the Golden Gallopers carousel on Cookridge Street. Skating and rides are paid; the market is free to browse.

The Frankfurt-linked Christkindelmarkt that ran on Millennium Square for many years is no longer held; the council's current City Square format began in 2023.
