A small four-day artisan Christmas market split between two medieval buildings on Lincoln's lower High Street.
Lincoln's Medieval Christmas Market is a small, atmospheric artisan market held across two historic buildings downhill in the city: St Mary le Wigford Church in the city centre and the 12th-century St Mary's Guildhall on the lower High Street.
Artisan craftspeople sell their work, with hot spiced punch and music. Visitors collect a stamp at both venues on a 'time-travelling passport' to enter a free raffle of prizes donated by the traders; in 2025 the newly restored North Range of St Mary's Guildhall was opened for it.
It's a much smaller event than Lincoln's former Christmas market, and a different one from the new cathedral market uphill.
