A city-centre Christmas market of wooden stalls in Broadmead, with German-style food, a Jäger Barn bar and bookable ski gondolas and hot-air-balloon baskets.

Bristol's Christmas market sets up in Broadmead, in the heart of the Bristol Shopping Quarter, for around seven weeks from early November. The organisers describe more than 40 stalls selling gifts, crafts and seasonal treats, with Santa and his elves making visits.

Food and drink are a big part of it: bratwurst, hog roast, Yorkshire pudding wraps, crêpes and churros, with Glühwein and mulled cider in the Jäger Barn Bar and, from 2025, a second bar (Bar Glissè) in Broadmead Piazza, with live music.

Private ski gondolas and hot-air-balloon baskets can be booked for groups (paid), and the bars and food stalls stay open later than the gift stalls.
