Salisbury City Council's festive pop-up on Guildhall Square, with retail huts, food, a bar and Santa's grotto, plus Sunday festive markets on the Market Place.
Salisbury's council-run Christmas offer is a small chalet village rather than a large market. Christmas on the Square, on Guildhall Square, has a cluster of retail huts and Christmas barrows, food, a bar with live music on some days, and Santa's grotto.
On the four Sundays before Christmas, Sunday Festive Markets bring a wider range of gift, craft and food stalls onto the Market Place. The season opens with Christmas Begins, a free afternoon-and-evening event with music, stalls and food.
Entry is free (grotto visits are pre-booked). The city's Park & Ride is promoted for Christmas shopping trips.
