A town-centre Christmas fayre of stalls, rides and a road train that replaced Harrogate's old Montpellier Hill Christmas market in 2021.
The Harrogate Christmas Fayre spreads stalls and attractions through the spa town's central streets for around ten days in December. It is run by the Christmas market company Market Place with backing from the council and Harrogate's business improvement district, and has included a free Candy Cane Express road train, a carousel and other rides.
It replaced the long-running Harrogate Christmas Market on Montpellier Hill, which did not return after its organisers' 2021 plans were halted. In 2025 the fayre ran 5–14 December, with a separate Little Bird artisan market in Valley Gardens on two weekends.
