A festive weekend in Hull city centre with a Christmas market along King Edward Street, stage shows in Queen Victoria Square and a Victorian market by Hull Minster.

Hull City Council marks the start of the season with a Christmas weekend in the city centre. In 2025 a Christmas market lined King Edward Street, with street entertainment, hot and cold food and covered seating, while the main stage in Queen Victoria Square hosted live music and a festive panto.

Street performers led down Whitefriargate to a Victorian market in Trinity Square beside Hull Minster (Saturday only), and the weekend coincided with Hull Museums' annual Victorian Christmas event on High Street in the Museums Quarter.
