A three-day Christmas market of over 50 artisan and food stalls in the grounds of Raby Castle near Barnard Castle.

Raby Castle, a medieval castle in a deer park near Staindrop in Teesdale, holds a Christmas market over a weekend at the end of November. Raby describes over 50 festive stalls of artisan crafts, gifts and seasonal produce, with twinkling lights and festive music across the market and woodland trails, plus mulled wine and Christmas trees.

Entry is by a low-cost ticket that is cheaper when booked online; anyone holding a ticket for Raby's other Christmas events that weekend gets in without paying again. Raby also runs a Christmas Emporium shop in its Riding School, Father Christmas visits in the castle and an enchanted forest trail during the season.
