A two-day Victorian-themed Christmas festival filling the cobbled streets of Ulverston with stalls, costume parades and street entertainment.

Ulverston, a small market town on the southern edge of the Lake District, turns Dickensian for one weekend at the end of November. Stalls fill the town centre, and visitors and locals are encouraged to dress up for costume parades that run on both days.

There are several indoor and outdoor stages with brass bands, singers, magicians, fire eaters, jugglers and stilt walkers, and almost all the entertainment is free. In 2025 there was also a winter wonderland on Brogden Street, Santa at the Laurel & Hardy Museum and a food court on Theatre Street car park.

The festival is run by a volunteer committee on a non-profit basis and started in 2000; 2026 is the 27th festival. The town's own independent shops, pubs and indoor market are open too.
